Hello,
I’m running the Enfold-theme and have just installed the WPSSO plugin. As soon as I activate the plugin, the colors and column spacing on the frontend website change.
I’ve contacted the plugin developer and they say the following: “WPSSO does not include any CSS on the front-end, only on the admin back-end for its settings pages. What you’re seeing is probably an incorrectly coded filter by your theme author. Try turning off the use of Content Filters as suggested here: http://surniaulula.com/codex/plugins/wpsso/installation/debugging-and-problem-solving/”
Turning off the Content Filters in the plugin indeed solved the problem. (but I need the Content Filters in the plugin to be turned on)
Can you please advice on how to solve this?

Yes I did, but that didn’t help. So the problem is connected to the theme and interaction with the WPSSO-plugin.
Can you help solve this? (or optionally point me to another plugin that has the same breadth of functionality; I’m already running Yoast)

I am sorry that you experience this incompatibility with WPSSO plugin. We can’t give support for any 3rd party plugin, because there are just too many of them. I personally have no experience with such a plugin, but you could try to have a look at this page: http://smallbiztrends.com/2014/03/social-media-plugins-for-wordpress.html

I understand, but could you check and confirm it is not “an incorrectly coded filter” in the theme, as the plugin developer suggests?

I am jumping into this discussion to see if you experienced the same problem i am now havingI am having an intermittent problem with my pages displaying weirdly in Chrome where enfold theme content elements display as as greyed out see screen shot

i have been through trouble shooting with support on another thread and having excluded other possible cause and are now looking into if it is caused by a plugin, one of the plugins that might be causing the problem is WPSSO so just wanted to see if we are having similar problems

As Andy pointed out our support for third party plugins is limited, but please send us a temporary admin login and we’ll have closer look and try to figure out if this is something which can be solved easily.

My problem seems to be different. It doesn’t ‘grey out’ (part of the) page. It just removes the spacing around certain page elements and changes some of the colors (font and background).
