I’m with WPEngine. Recently i received a notice informing me that my version of CSS Hero posed a security threat. Accordingly, I turned it off. However, I found that when i did so, the header containing the menu became white meaning none of the top level link showed at all.
I tried adding CSS to put it back but no success. I tried#header_main {
background-color: black !important}but nothing changed.
I tried various things but nothing worked.
I am not upgrading CSS Hero so I would like to know what I should put in the CSS to make it black. The website is discoveringdowsing.com. At the moment the header is black because CSS Hero is on, but what is the css which addresses the black area at the top of the home page please so i can make it black without Css Hero?Thanks

You can set that in the theme options under Enfold->General Styling. If that is not working then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

Thanks for that. I deactivated the CSS hero plugin off but I can’t see any difference on your site, the header is black in both states on my end.

RikardDecember 14, 2019 at 4:34 pm #1165887OK…. No idea why that happened as I checked in two different browsers before writing you and also had my wife check it. SO I apologize for seemingly wasting your time.
But there is now still a small problem with the menu, but only on the home page as far ass I can see. On that page, the main heading text does not show although the drop down items do. The main menu headings only appear after scrolling down.The menu is clearly visible on other pages, just the home page seems to have this issue.
Sorry to be a nuisance about this, but I can’t see why that is happening. Any help would be appreciated
December 15, 2019 at 6:01 am #1166012Hi,
Thanks for the update. Did you select for the page in question to have a transparent header in the Layout menu? If so then please try to select a different header there.
Best regards,
