I have a site running on the latest version of Enfold, 4.5.5. I did a roll back to 4.5.3, and the issue seems to be still happening. The site has a custom background image image and it is not loading when the CSS file merging and compression is turned on under Performance. What is happening is that the site URL is being repeated the the image link name in the merged CSS only. In the General Styling area the URL is correct. Example:
Here is what is shows in the setup for the config under General Styling for the custom background image:
https://www.something.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bg-gradient.jpgOn the live site, with CSS file merging and compression on, here is what is loading in the style sheet that is breaking the image being loaded:
https://www.something.com/www.something.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/bg-gradient.jpg
See the domain name is being repeated twice. We disabled all other caching plugins, cleared cache, and turned off all plugins.
The issue is coming from the CSS being loaded called –

Tried it 2 times, cleared cache, turned off all plugins, reactivated theme, same result. The URL of the site domain is still loading twice.April 8, 2019 at 9:38 am #1088197Hi ronduring,
Thanks for the update and I’m sorry for the problem. Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

April 9, 2019 at 3:12 pm #1088671Hi,
Thank you for the credentials.
But I cannot see the theme editor menu in WP Dashboard-> Appearance. So I cannot check or modify the file.
Maybe something went wrong when updating the file – or the server has a cache and did not recognise the changes.
As a temporary fix you can disable CSS merging (Enfold Child -> Performance tab).
The fix should be in the next update. If you do not want to wait for the next update can you give us ftp access and a full admin account so we can update the file and check? After update it needs to save the Enfold theme options to force a rebuild of the merged files.
Best regards,
Günter -
