I got a critical error message from wordpress, i’m not sure what caused this or if the error still exists.
DETAILS
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 525 of the file /home/trundlea/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-gutenberg/class-avia-gutenberg.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function gutenberg_can_edit_post_type() in /home/trundlea/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-gutenberg/class-avia-gutenberg.php:525Recent actions:
I added yoast and started using sg optimizer – enabled all fields to try to improve site speed.
I realised there was optimisation already built into enfold so i disabled minify css in performance section of enfold.
Perhaps it is better to disable the entire section called FRONTEND optimisation on sg optimizer and keep the enfold fields enabled.
I don’t know?
I’ve updated all the plugins, the only other thing i remember is accidentally clicking on the create robots.txt file in yoast.
Anyway, traffic reduced by 70%. Concerned about critical errors, i used RYTE to test site health and sure enough the tool came back with
28 errors.
I’m now wondering whether i should try installing a fresh copy of enfold to fix these errors??What would you suggest?September 18, 2020 at 3:57 am #1246623Hey trundle7,
Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Also, was this error emailed to your from WordPress, and is something broken on the actual site?
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 21, 2020 at 1:06 pm #1247326Good morning,
i’ve set up a temp login (below) which lasts 3 days – let me know if this needs to be extended.
The original email was sent from wordpress. I’ve updated enfold to the latest version so this may have fixed the problem.
The site itself seems ok but wordpress itself seems to cut out quite a bit, usually when i click on previous page arrow.
If there are any serious issues with the site, please let me know.
Thanks and regards.DETAILS – This is from WP email
