Hi, Can someone help with following error that is happening:

There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

We have not received an email. Every time I try to save a change by pressing “update” in WordPress the above error pops up? We on 8.1 PHP and you fixed this before so \I don’t know why its happening again?

    Hey Goodchild007,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

The site is not loading properly on our end. Have you tried updating the theme to version 5.6.5? A plugin conflict may also be one of the reasons for this issue. To find which plugin is causing the conflict please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your plugins page > Deactivate all active Plugins
    2. Update WordPress and Enfold to the latest version if you have not.
    3. Make sure all the plugins are updated.
    4. If the problem does not persist when plugins are turned off, activate one plugin at a time and refresh until you find the plugin in conflict.

We await the results of your plugin compatibility test.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

Thanks for that. The error you posted indicates that your installation doesn’t have enough memory. Do you know the memory limit on your installation? Please note that the error is thrown from a core WordPress file.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The error message in question is a WordPress error message, saying it doesn’t have enough memory. That means that you will have to increase the memory allocated to PHP on your installation: https://developer.wordpress.org/apis/wp-config-php/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

If it’s the same error, then you would likely have to increase it more. Also check with your hosting provider if you are able to adjust the memory yourself, or if it has to be done by them.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
