    I would like to be able to import or have loaded the Ctreative Studio so I can change my existing site to it but not have it published until I am finished and do not want to over wrtie the site I have now..

    Any help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated..

    Hey Gene,

    If you don’t want to overwrite it you might need to to just do a separate install in a completely different directory and not import/overwrite until it is finished.

    Ok.. I am not the best at web sites.. so, how would I do a seperate install with wordpress and still use Enfold? I thought it could only be used on one web site…

    Hi,

    You can use the same license on a staging site if you like, that is not a problem. You can simply upload a new WordPress installation to a new directory on your server and develop your site there, then you can transfer it to your live site using a migration plugin once you are done.

    So if I install another wite, what about the site name and stuff like that I have to put when setting it up? Or could I just do a copy of the site with the migration tool and remove the stuff I do not want and import the Creative Studio to over write everything and start from there.. I am at a loss on setting up another site and migrating it. If I do not want everything in the old site, won’t the migration tool migrate everything from the old site??

    Sorry.. Not a web site guru but can feel my way into doing this stuff..

    Another question.. Since this will be a temp site until I get it setup correctly.. How do I go about downloading and setting up teh Enfold theme on it? Do I need a need key or just copy and paste the other one??

    Hi,

    If its a local install/temp site you don’t need to add the key until you place it live for viewers.

    Ok.. And then do I just copy the Key to the new site or get a new one? It is going to be the same web site name once it goes live

    OK.. got it all installed.. But, how do I delete the other themes I do not need? There are no delete or remove buttons on them

    Hi,

    Those are just demos, so they are essentially out of site until you need them. You can remove the demo folders via FTP, but they will still show on the front-end/dashboard.

    Do you know if the theme would prevent the plug ins from being updated?? ALL the plug ins give this error: “Update Failed: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided”
