I’m using Enfold and have made many customizations to support my site. I never made a Child theme from Enfold for my customizations. Now I realize I can’t use the Enfold updates without losing my customizations because I didn’t create a child theme.
Is there an easy and reliable way to make a child theme now, after the fact?

Could you try to be a bit more specific as to what kind of customisations you have made? If you have changed theme files directly then you would have to move those to the child theme, if you only have made changes to the theme options then you can simply export them from the parent and then import in the child.
