Hi,
I’m trying to customize the size of my grid images kind of like this site (http://peacheyphotography.co.uk/) I’ve been trying to use the Masonry grid, because it seems like that should be doable, but I can’t figure out how to get anything to show up within the gird. I’ve made posts. and tagged them and they don’t show up.
thanks

September 21, 2015 at 9:08 am #506280Hey Hosea,
Could you please provide us with a temporary admin login so that we can take a closer look? You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply. Please specify the page you are having problems with as well.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 21, 2015 at 4:59 pm #506526I think the issue is two part. But maybe it’s all the same issue. None of my posts will preview at all. Including the ones that are there as sample posts from the Enfold theme. I just get a page that says “Nothing found”. I’ve attached my login info in the private content window. I’m basically trying to determine if I can create what my wife wants for her site, so I’m testing it out on my site first.
September 21, 2015 at 5:03 pm #506529the page i’m trying to work off is called “SM test” if that helps. thanks for jumping in!
September 21, 2015 at 6:06 pm #506579i’ve made some progress. i’m able to get images in the masonry grid as long as the posts are public. still can’t get posts to preview though.

Not sure but I think you forgot to include the URL for your site? Please note that your thread is sent to the back of our support queue each time you reply to it.

RikardSeptember 24, 2015 at 2:39 am #508130ah, yes, that would be helpful. here’s the URL. also good to know about the queue.
here’s where I stand with my questions since I’ve been able to get the Masonry grid to at least show the featured images from my test posts, which was my first issue.
1. I can’t preview my posts. They say “Nothing found”
2. I’ve been able to get all of the images positioned in the Masonry grid how I want, except for the two in the middle of the bottom row. I’ve tried switching the names around, but that hasn’t worked.
3. Is there a way to change the aspect ratio of the Masonry tiles? I’d like them to be wider than they are currently.
4. How can I change the overlay to a simple color overlay with text centered in the middle? Thanks so much
September 25, 2015 at 8:59 am #508821Hey!
1.) I checked the Settings > Permalink panel and the structure is set to “/about” which is an invalid permalink. We set it back to the default “/%postname%”. http://69.89.31.117/~hoseagru/test/a-really-simple-entry/
2.) Can you please provide a screenshot of this issue? The masonry looks OK when I check the test page.
3.) Place the masonry element outside of the 1/1 column layout element. Or set the “Size Settings” to Perfect Manual Masonry. You can read the note under the settings.
Manually control the height and width of entries by adding either a “landscape” or “portrait” tag when creating the entry. Elements with no such tag use a fixed default size, elements with both tags will display extra large
4.) There is no option for that, unfortunately. Can you please provide a screenshot of the hover effect that you want? You can contact codeable: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 28, 2015 at 4:05 pm #510206Hi, thanks for the quick response.
1. Great. Thanks!
2. The masonry looks good, just the design that I want I’d like the two bottom middle images to switch positions. Basically I have a specific order for the masonry tiles and I can’t quite get it to work.
3. I don’t want the tiles to go the full width of the page. I want them contained within the 1/1 column element. and I already have it set to Perfect Manual Masonry. What I’m wanting to do is to be able to make the aspect ratio of the tiles different. for example let’s say the “landscape” tiles are 161px X 126px, I’d like to be able to change that to 161 x 100.
4. http://peacheyphotography.co.uk/ something like this. How does codeable work? I give them what I want and they do it for a price?September 29, 2015 at 5:38 pm #510884Hey!
2. No idea what you want to do. Can you provide us a mockup showing what you want to achieve please? you can use imgur.com or dropbox.
3. Refer to this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-image-sizes/#post-336176
You could also use a plugin like this to change image size: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/4. Yes, show them which kind of customization you need and they will do the job for you.

AndySeptember 30, 2015 at 5:43 pm #5117172. Hope this clarifies. Basically I was able to get all but two of the images in the grid positions that I want. I named the posts starting with a number, but for some reason the two bottom row middle images (the rollovers says “14 Maggie & Chris” on one and “13 Portraits” on the other won’t swap positions even when I swap the numbers. Ideally, also I could hide the numbers or have another way of positioning the tiles how they are in the layout screengrab.
3. cool. i’ll try this out.
4. great. thanks!October 2, 2015 at 7:18 pm #512973Hi!
not sure what you are trying to achieve, but can you provide us a link so we can inspect the elements in question please?
Do you want to control the sorting of images in masonry gallery?Cheers!
