    Hello,

    I’m trying to create a video gallery, and i tried as described in a previous post to create an item portfolio with the url of the youtube video and unfortunately the video is doesn’t opened in a lightbox.. i tried a lot of combination but nothing work…

    Is anyone can indicate step by step the way to display a video gallery and play a video as in the portfolio page of the enfold demo ?

    Hey mlk92!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    1.) Edit the portfolio item then set the Overwrite Portfolio Link setting to custom link. Add the url of the video. Make sure that url structure look something like this:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0k3kHtyoqc

    2.) Create a page, add the Portfolio Grid element. Make sure that the Link Handling option is set to default, not AJAX.

    Hello,

    Thanks for your reply, I tried this and i think i have forgot something.. lol, the gallery is displayed but there is only title with no thumbnail and no link to open the lighbox popin…

    I tried the same operation with a Masonry portfolio, and there is the link and the video is well opened in the lightbox popin but… there is no thumbnail..

    So for the Portfolio Grid is there something more needed ? And for the thumbnails ? is it automatic or should i have to upload it ? (if yes, where ?)

    Hi!

    Yes, you need to set the featured image. It will serve as the video thumbnail or preview.

    I am following your instructions as you helped Sisley get her perfect gallery which is exactly how I wanted it …. … however, my videos are self-hosted on Amazon S3… so I can’t use your special YouTube structured link. How can I get self-hosted videos to work as Sisley has?

    Hey!

    Unfortunately, mp4 video format isn’t supported by the lightbox plugin. You can still add the url as portfolio item custom link but it will open the video player in another page.

    Hi,

    I’m trying to do the exact same behavior with Youtube videos than the “music video” part of

    The feature image is set, as well as the “overight portfolio settings”.
    The issue is that while clicking on the miniature the youtube video doesn’t pop up in the lightbox but opens the full youtube page.

    Can you help?

    Hello again,

    I found the solutions, the “lightbox modal windows” option was unchecked.
    Now I’m wondering if it possible to generally disable the lightbox modal and only activate it for specific pages ?

    Hi,

    I’m working on a video gallery as well, but having trouble playing the Youtube video in the lightbox. Every video gives a ‘An error occurred. Please try again later.’ message.

    Can you help in troubleshooting this issue?
