I wish to create a sub menu on a post, but the only option I see is for Fullwidth Submenu widget. Can I manipulate that for it to be a vertical menu (not horizontal)? (I intend to use the “build simple custom menu” option within the Fullwidth Submenu widget).

However, if vertical is not possible, then a sub menu that is not full width?

    Thanks

    Hi laptophobo,

I guess it would be possible but I think it will take a lot of work unfortunately, could you post a screenshot highlighting what you had in mind please?

    Thanks,
    Rikard

    Hi.
You know the default layout of sidebar navigation for child Page’s of a particular Parent? That kind of basic vertical list of links.

    cheers,

    Hey!

I am sorry but what you do describe is not enough,
We do need to see it visually so we can be able to identify if it is inside the support scope or not.
Thanks a lot for your understanding

    Cheers!

    Hi,

Have you tried the Widget Area element? Create a custom menu in Appearance > Menus panel then insert it in a page with the Widget Area element.

    Best regards,

I did. But because there will be a unique submenu for many posts, I’d like not to go that route.

    Hi!

    unique submenu for many posts

I’m sorry but what do you mean by that? It’s almost the same as adding a full width sub menu. The only difference is that you have to create an actual menu in the Appearance > Menus panel. If you don’t want to create multiple menus, use the following plugin to control the visibility of the menu items. https://wordpress.org/plugins/menu-items-visibility-control/

    Cheers!

Thank you, I’ll give that a try.
