    I am rebuilding one of my sites and I need to build a Blog Layout for individual posts.

    No sidebar.
    Title
    Featured image
    Content
    Extra block with my content
    Etc…

    How can I build my single post Layout using the builder?

    Hey peterolle,

    Well, you can use color section with the Special Heading, Image element/Slider, text block and whatever blocks you need further down the page.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update, you can use the Layout Builder just like Victoria pointed out. If you don’t want the sidebar then you can select to not show it in the Layout menu. If that is not the answer you are looking for then please try to explain your problem a bit further.

    Thank you Rikard.

    I need to create a layout for “single” post. So all my posts use that new layout I create.

    For “pages” I create a new page, open advanced editor add all I need and done. That is for 1 page.

    For “posts” I need to create 1 layout and use it for my over 10,000 posts. Not 1 post, the complete website posts using a layout I create.

    Hi,

    Ok, thanks for the clarification. I guess the simplest way to load a template for each of your post would be to create it, then save it as a template, then load that template each time you create a new post?

    I need it for the already 10,000 published posts as well. and if I modify the layout, well, everything gets updated as expected.

    Hi,

    You have to edit the HTML / CSS there is no other easier way right now on the way ALB works.

    Having to modify the single.php by hand is not a good option as I can’t add things like in builder, different blocks, content, structure, etc…

    The idea is to use the Builder. Maybe you now have a feature to make Enfold really unique, a single post builder that applies as a real layout builder for all posts.

    Hi,

    It would be a nice feature to design templates using the Layout Builder yes, but there is no functionality for that right now unfortunately. We might be able to implement this in a future version though.

    I t would be awesome actually. Select Blog Layout > Use the builder > Save.

    Then all your posts look exactly as needed.

    Hopefully you add this, it will give Enfold a really really big push having something like this.

    Hi,

    Yes, I totally agree with what you are saying. We’re planning to rebuild the Layout Builder from the ground up, so we’ll likely try to get something similar in there at that point.
