Hi there,
Is it possible to introduce new dimension size choices into the gallery element?
For our purposes we need a 500px by 500px big image with smaller square thumbnails below. There is a 500×500 big square choice but not a corresponding smaller thumbnail option, unless you want to go really small. Our other requirement is 500px wide and 800px tall with corresponding smaller thumbnails below of similar ratio.
I am not sure whether Enfold is adaptable in this way, but wanted to confirm all the same.
Thanks.

Thank you for using Enfold.
Inspect the available thumbnails in the selection and then install the following plugin to adjust the size of the thumbnail. After the installation, go to the Settings > Media panel. Adjust the sizes, update, save then regenerate the thumbnails. https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Before I follow your instruction. Can I just confirm then, that installing this plugin and adding the thumbnail sizes I mentioned in my original support request, then regenerating thumbnails (via the regenerate thumbnails plugin, I presume), the new size options will appear as selections in the Enfold theme Gallery element for choosing – like the others do currently (see attachment)?

The additional thumbnails or the newly created thumbnails will not be added to the selection so you have to modify the existing thumbnails.
Cheers!
IsmaelSeptember 12, 2016 at 6:59 am #684904Hi there
I tried the plugin on a locally hosted install of Enfold, and it does actually give you the option of adding NEW sizes as well as modifying the existing ones. So it looks like I can retain the option to have the default sizes as well as custom ones in the gallery.September 13, 2016 at 7:30 am #685539Hi @craigriches,
Thanks for the feedback, so I’m guessing you got it working the way you want then?
