Howdy,
I saw some threads that spoke to creating linked columns with a custom CSS class, but the issue we have is that the columns already have a custom CSS class of “box-link”. There are 8 boxes in question, all need to go to different destinations, all with that identical “box-link” CSS class.
Unfortunately I was not a part of the build, and there is already a lot of custom css (see below for conflicts).
How can I get each entire box to link to a unique destination?
Thanks![quick css)

}May 5, 2018 at 6:07 am #952018Hey raisonbrands,
Login details are not working, but in the latest version of the theme (4.3.1), it’s possible to set links for columns. Please try updating to that: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardMay 7, 2018 at 11:15 pm #952967Hey Rikard,
Sorry about the incorrect creds, I’m running 4.2.6 right now, just realized I actually can’t update the Theme at the moment–there are too many moving parts to manage and I’m not authorized to spend time fixing issues that may arise.
Is there a manual way to do it? Correct creds are below.
Thanks,

May 9, 2018 at 5:32 am #953673Hi,
Thanks for that, details are working now. I’m not sure what you mean by too many moving parts, but if you want to update manually you can do so via FTP if you like? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,
RikardMay 9, 2018 at 4:04 pm #954014Hi Rikard,
Meaning that our work order will not accommodate the time to fix anything should there be an issue with the update. Typically when we update Enfold, we have some issues with sliders and random media items that aren’t anything abnormal, but for a site like this with a lot of pages and content, could take a few hours to straighten out.
May 9, 2018 at 4:13 pm #954020or try this solution ( by the way there is nothing against it to have more than one class each element)
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/column-clickable-code-doesnt-work-any-more/#post-951688on ALB Elements input field just insert them each behind the other
so for.box-link.clickable
insert in the input field: box-link clickableor is that the class you used to have the box link?
than you can edit the code which comes to functions.php of the child theme:
function transfer_link_from_child(){ ?> <script> (function($){ $(".box-link").each(function(){ var theLink = $(this).find("a:first").attr("href"); if (typeof theLink !== "undefined"){ $(this).addClass("clickme"); $(this).on("click", function(){ window.location.href = theLink; }); }; }); })(jQuery); </script> <?php } add_action('wp_footer', 'transfer_link_from_child');
PS : the added class clickme is for styling the hover state f.e.:
.clickme:hover { cursor: pointer; -webkit-filter: drop-shadow(2px 3px 5px #999); filter: drop-shadow(2px 3px 5px #999); }

Much appreciated,
