    Hello Kriesi team,
    i have a really crazy problem with slide show (full width).
    The slide text has a longer letter spacing on localhost than on online (see screenshot localhost_Lippenpflege>).
    And now it’s getting crazy: as long as I keep ssl running online, there is no difference (see screenshot FF_developer 1>). .But if I deactivate ssl (plugin Really Simple SSL) online (as there is no SSL there), then letter spacing is significantly shorter (see screenshot FF_developer_2>).
    But I want the same letter spacing as with localhost!
    What should I do?

    Best regards, Will
    P.S. I have now installed two sliders on the homepage for testing purposes. The upper one is formatted: “below, without frame” there is letter spacing longer. The lower one is formatted: “Left, no frame” there, letter spacing is shorter.

    Hey willblueland,

    Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .slideshow_caption {
        width: 100%;
    }

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello Ricard,
    I had been working on it for hours, and I already had it in the “Style CSS”, in the “Child Theme”, (see screenshot). It didn’t work there! But now it worked in Quick CSS !!!
    Can you please tell me why it doesn’t work in the child theme? Would be important to me because of future ENFOLD updates.
    Best regards,
    Will

    Hi Will,

    Your CSS in Quick CSS should be safe during updates, it will not get overwritten. If you need us to check your style.css file, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
    here are the login data > private
    and you can find the style sheet there too!

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. I tried adding some generic CSS to your style.css file, and that applied without any problem. I can also see this CSS applying:

    .slideshow_caption {
      width: 100%;
    }

    If you should have any further problems like this, then please try to load the site in an incognito or private browser window. Also please try toggling file file compression under Enfold->Performance.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello Rikard,
    there are days when I no longer understand the world. I have no idea why that didn’t work before. I had cleared the cache, etc.
    Your tip: “toggling file file compression under Enfold-> Performance” I will remember. Thank you for your help.
    Best regards,
    Will
