Hi,
Please note that I have no technical knowledge so I might well write wrong/weird/absurd things…I have been using a 5 years old Enfold version until recently (it was bought by the web designer) and I have recently bought a Enfold license to make the updatre and since then my website is deadly low. It seems that the CPU of my server is too weak for Enfold and the company which host the server askwhat are the minimal requirements forEnfold to perfom well but I cannot find the info…
Any clues ?
Best,
Olivier

I’m not sure that I fully understand the problem that you are having. Where exactly are you seeing that the CPU load is too big? If you have some kind of documentation on this, then please share that with us.

My lack of technical knowledge do not ease things I guess :-)
So, my website was terribly low, I contacted the helpdesk of the company hosting the server and they asked if they could run the PHP slowlog so that they could see which scripts were low to load. They talked also about analyse the php_low.log
And their conclusion was that the Enfold theme need more CPU that what I have right now and that I should upgrade for a more powerful server.
I have asked which one they would recommend and they asked me if the theme requires specific harware or software in order to work correctly.Does that help ? I hope so !
P.S. : I have add login in the private content if that helps
Best,
Olivier
June 11, 2025 at 10:09 am #1485322Hi,
Thanks for the update. Do you mean that your site was slow? I’m not sure I understand with it being low. You could try using a plugin like this to check what is consuming the most resources on your site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/

RikardJune 11, 2025 at 10:22 am #1485324Yes, very slow and the support of the company that host the server told me that I needed to ugrade my server contract as the theme was too demanding for the CPU I have right now.
Can you tell me what are the minimum software and hardware requirements for Enfold to perfom well ? That’s what the support of my server is asking me in order to advise me what better option of hosting would help for the website being slow.
They also recommended to install Query Monitor and I did but having no technical knowledge, I just dont know what to look at…
It looks like I really need to find a webmaster to help me.Thanks for your help !
June 16, 2025 at 10:04 am #1485496Hi,
Thanks for the update and sorry for the late reply. Enfold should work on most server environments, but we would need more information on what is going wrong to say for sure. One thing that you could try is to clear all caches from your caching/performance plugins to see what happens then. If nothing changes, then you could try to temporarily deactivate all plugins.
Best regards,
