    Hi there,

I have an Enfold website that has to be restored from a backup because I like to reverse some programming work somebody did.
Is it possible to save templates of all the new pages that were updated after the backup was made and restore them in the restored copy of the website?

    Hi vossenm!

That it possible ( not wit that process exactly ) but would require some advanced work.
Best case scenario is to go hire a freelance, to help you our with all the issues.

Thanks a lot for your understanding

I guess it will be easier to re-create the pages then, it’s not a lot, just annoying that I changed things….

BTW, if I have both copies live, is there a plugin I could use to store pages and load them into the other site maybe?

    Hey!

That is not possible, but you can get your text editor to HTML / TEXT and try from there to copy paste into a text file.
Let us know if that will work out for you.

    Thanks a lot

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Not really…

When I switch to ‘standard view’ instead of the Avia builder, there is nothing to see, so nothing to copy-paste?

    Hi!

Please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/ and enable debugging mode

    Thanks!

I notices when I used FTP to my site that there are a lot of new folders there like:

    languages-old
    plugins-old
    themes-old
    etc

    Any idea why that is?

    Hi,

I’m not sure, in what folder are you seeing those?

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

They are in wp-content, but it could be that the Updraft restore puts them there?

    Hi,

It sure is not created by our theme it must be either some backup service from your hosting company or a third party plugin. Please try deactivating all plugins and rename the folders to

    languages-old-1
    plugins-old-1
    themes-old-1

and check if the same issue happens. If not re-activate the plugins one by one.

    Best regards,
    Vinay
