    My website has a chat page. A visiter can change the preset word ‘naam’ in the name box. This will be stored in a cookie and untill the cookies are deleted in the browser, the name should be stored in the cookie. However, in Enfold this does not work that way. Every time I change the preset ‘naam’ and I send a message to the chat, it turns back to naam and not to the name I entered.
    In Chrome i see behind Naam, no cookie selected.

    Probably I missed a switch in the privacy and cookies settings, but I think I tried everything.

    We get this error whenever we try to change the name.

    Hi Ismael, thanks for your reply. After you enter a name, it is mandatory to send a message to the chat. Only then the name will be stored in a cookie.
    The first image is an example of studiodrentsepoort.nl without Enfold, and the second one in the same chat in the same browser via studiodrentsepoort.com with Enfold

    As you see, the name Kriesi remains in the Name-box after I sent the message ‘test van Jan’ (the first picture)
    In the second picture, you see that, after I sent the message ‘test van Jan2’ with name Kriesi2, the name-box is reset to Naam.
    So the cookie did not store the name Kriesi2.

    When I don’t get this to work, I can’t use the Enfold theme, because this chat is an important part of my internet radio station.

    Hi Ismael

    I matched the chatpage to a chat on the .com-server and then the name is stored. Please close the ticket for now. If I get issues going live on the .nl-server after completing the building of the site, I will open a new ticket.
