    Hello Enfold Team,

    my cookies for google analytics when a user don’t want to be tracked does not work.

    I have put the google analytics tracking code under enfold child > theme options > google dienste > tracking code for google analytics.

    Google Analytics works but the user can not stop tracking when i dont want the tracking. The cookies doesn’t work. Can you check what is the problem?

    Hey Tobias777G,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    Looks like you have set the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behavior to the first or second option, which allows external cookies by default. You have to select the third or fourth option in the Default Cookie Behavior settings to disallow external services or scripts on initial load including the analytics tracker.

    i have selected the default cookie behaviour “Nutzer muss akzeptieren und einwilligen (Opt-In) nur notwendige Cookies sind ausgewählt” (in English: User must accept and consent (opt-in) only necessary cookies are selected”.).

    Is that the right option, that the analytics cookies work?

    Yes, that should be the correct option. The analytics script will be disabled by default and users will have to enable it manually using the toggles in the privacy popup window or within the privacy page, if enabled.
