Is there a way to make the cookie consent message work for a multisite installation with directories on the same domain?
When I only enable it on the main site, it only works on the main site. If you first enter a page on another site (directory), the message is not shown.
When I enable it on more than one site (directory), it only works as long as you stay on the same site. If you go to another site, the message appears again even if you accepted it before. I guess it’s always overwritten no matter from which site it’s saved.
Thank you!
Edit: This has been solved!
Hey essjb,
Glad you got it working for you! :)
Can you please share your solution for the “future generations”? :)
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hey essjb,
Thank you for using Enfold.
Glad you could solve it.
Could you kindly post your solution here to help other users that are facing the same probem ?
Best regards,
Günter
To be honest, I’m not really sure what exactly solved it. I disabled the consent message on all sites (directories), deleted the cache of the entire site and enabled the consent message on all sites again. Then I deleted the cache of the entire site again and also deleted the cache and cookies in my browser and it worked.
It would be nice if you could also answer the following question. It was marked as a duplicate post and closed (so i cannot reply anymore) but it’s a different issue:
