Hi, when I am switching between language mutations on my site, Cookie Consent Message is constantly showing up. You can test it here http://www.velore.eu and switch languages on top right. What is the problem? Why site do not remember cookis?
January 16, 2019 at 12:40 am #1054422Hey morelon,
Please go to enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js file in Appearance > Editor and make sure you have the following line:
date.setTime(date.getTime()+(CookieDays*24*60*60*1000));
Best regards, Jordan Shannon

January 18, 2019 at 1:40 am #1055306Hi,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

BasilisJanuary 22, 2019 at 8:19 am #1057097Sorry, but it is the same.
Load page -> cookies show -> hit OK -> cookies vanish -> hit EN (english mutation) -> cookies show -> hit OK -> Cookies vanish -> hit SK -> cookies are back -> hit OK -> cookies vanish -> hit EN -> cookies are back! -> etc… :)When You switch language mutations cookies are there always, that’s the point.
January 24, 2019 at 3:38 am #1058008Hi,
The “aviaCookieConsent” cookie is being set properly but it doesn’t seem to be recognized when switching languages. Do you mind if wee access your file server? Please post the FTP details in the private field.

January 25, 2019 at 8:23 am #1058527Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Did you minify or compress the scripts? I can’t find the “avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js” anywhere and I tried to get to the dashboard but it’s not accessible.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 25, 2019 at 8:28 am #1058531Hi, no I did not. Few weeks ago I just copy and moved server database because of the domain change.
January 25, 2019 at 8:30 am #1058533I can see avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js in the WordPress editor.
January 25, 2019 at 8:49 am #1058548Hi,
Yes, the file is there but it’s not loaded or the scripts are minified. Please give us access to the dashboard.

February 11, 2019 at 8:45 am #1065346Something new, please?
February 11, 2019 at 12:43 pm #1065403Hi,
I would like to apologize for the late response. I just found out that the EN version is an entirely different installation, so it generates the same cookie name but with a different value. I thought you’re using a multilang plugin such as WPML or Polylang. The script is generating new cookies whenever you switch between the sites, so the previous cookie is seen as invalid or expired. I don’t really think that this is a critical issue because users will tend to stick on their preferred language.
Best regards,
IsmaelFebruary 11, 2019 at 1:00 pm #1065408Thanks for the answer. I do not know if this issue is caused by theme, or database, or something else? Can be it solved somehow?
February 12, 2019 at 12:03 pm #1065914Hi!
It’s the script, which generates the same cookie for both sites. The problem here is that you’re not using a multilang plugin like WPML, so both sites (EN and SK) generates their own consent cookie, which has the same name but different value. Again, this is not going to be an issue because users will stick on their preferred language or they won’t switch between the sites.
Best regards,
Ismael -
