content slider- will not save title link to outside of website

Hi, on my home page I want to set a link to an image. I am using the Enfold’s themes content slider. When I set it to “manually” on the “title link” it will not let me, or will not redirect the image to an outside website. It will save and it will sit there, but will not redirect to a different website. Is this a fault? What can I do so it will send a link to outside of my website please.
