Although I have up to date Mac technology I don’t have a PC, so I have to rely on friends telling me when things look wrong.
A friend tells me the pages that I have used Content Slider on don’t display images correctly on their ancient PCs running XP and IE 8.This is one of the pages that does not work properly:
http://client1.waltoncreative.com/index.php/portfolio-item/frozen-food-supplier/
This is what he is seeing:
http://client1.waltoncreative.com/WrongDisplay.pngWhereas this is how it correctly looks on my Mac
http://client1.waltoncreative.com/HowItShouldLook.pngI have take out all of my own CSS styling, so I can’t see what might be causing the squashed picture problem?
Any ideas?
Perhaps this is just an old set up that Content Slider doesn’t work with??October 17, 2014 at 5:35 pm #337469UPDATE !
I have used Easy Slider instead which works fine. result !
October 17, 2014 at 5:43 pm #337473UPDATE UPDATED!
I see this isn’t the perfect solution as it doesn’t allow the visitor to click on the image and have it enlarge in a popup.
Any other alternative ideas?

Thank you for using Enfold.
I checked the link (http://client1.waltoncreative.com/index.php/portfolio-item/frozen-food-supplier/) but there’s a 404 error. Please check.
Best regards,
IsmaelOctober 20, 2014 at 7:12 pm #338553Sorry, here is a link with a page that has the same problem:
http://client1.waltoncreative.com/index.php/portfolio-item/candles-catalogue-design/
Remember it is on windows XP and Internet Explorer 8. Up to date versions a probably correct.
Thanks
October 21, 2014 at 9:20 am #338902Hi!
Thank you for the link. I checked the site on IE8 Windows 8 and it looks fine. I’m sorry but I don’t have an XP machine to check this and I doubt any of the support team member have it. I supposed they can upgrade IE8 to a later version of the browser.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 21, 2014 at 9:46 am #338912OK thanks for going to so much trouble! Perhaps it is only a very small percentage of potential clients that would be using such an ancient system.
Kind regards.
