I am currently trying to create a content slider on my About page to show logos for our company’s previous and current clients. I filled out a few slides to see how they looked on the page and when I went back to add a few more and edit the ones I had created, the image I attached using the Add Media button for the Slide Content had vanished and the “Slide Content Here” text that I deleted came back.
Thanks

November 11, 2013 at 7:59 pm #186969I’m experiencing the same thing in the tabs function. Image that has been inserted via add media does not save.

I have just logged in and tried to create content slider element on a page but pages cannot be displayed. I tried to check your about page and it is the same. Please try contacting your service provider.

YigitNovember 14, 2013 at 10:41 pm #188595We had to make some changes to the permalinks and it was offline for a few hours. It’s back up now.
Sorry about that.
Thanks Yigit.
November 18, 2013 at 2:15 am #189895Hi!
Please try deactivating all active plugins and check if there is a conflict with one of them. If that does not help, please update Enfold to the latest version which is 2.4.2. You are currently using Enfold version 2.3.2.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750Best regards,

I deactivated all of my plugins and tried. Didn’t help. Then I updated Enfold to version 2.4.2. Didn’t help either.
I tried a jpeg instead of the png file I was trying to use and that didn’t make a difference either.
I did notice that the content slide will save text that is inserted but the image disappears every time I go back in to edit or add a slide.
November 20, 2013 at 10:12 am #190867Hi!
I tagged the thread for Kriesi. I couldn’t find a js error or any obvious conflict which causes this issue and I’m not sure why it’s not working. The only suggestion I have is to re-install the theme and wordpress via ftp and to overwrite all existing files. Maybe a js file is corrupt and thus the media gallery doesn’t work properly.
Best regards,

Per your advice, I started fresh with a new install of WordPress and the Enfold theme and I’m still having the same problem.
Thanks again for your help.
November 24, 2013 at 7:29 pm #192584Hey!
Just as another item to check, can you try switching to one of the default WordPress themes and then check to make sure all the image editing/adding functionality on posts/pages has no issues. Just to help rule out any server/wordpress conflicts that may be happening.

I tried switching to the Twenty-Thirteen theme and wasn’t able to duplicate the issue there. I also tried a different premium theme that I purchased earlier called Astrum from Purethemes and I wasn’t able to duplicate the problem in that theme either.
December 2, 2013 at 5:15 pm #195344Definitely a strange issue and hopefully when Kriesi is able to take a look he will be able to spot whatever issue is happening. It can take a bit of time for him to go through his queue so I can’t give a definitive timeline at the moment but it should be soon.
December 2, 2013 at 6:47 pm #195408Ok. I’d really like to use the content slider feature so hopefully the issue is found.
Thanks for the help.
December 6, 2013 at 8:32 pm #197083FYI, I updated my version of Microsoft Internet Explorer from 9 to 10 and the problem has been resolved.
Thanks for all the help.
