After latest updates to Enfold (3.6.1) and WP( 4.6.1,) a situation arose where some users (with Admin credentials) could not edit pages or posts because the content editing section of Edit Page would not load. Just see the circling icon. Couldn’t toggle between Default and Avia layout builder either.
For two different users this consistently occurs on different computers and different browsers. Issue does not occur for me.I changed to a default WP theme. Problem persisted.
I deactivated and activated plugins until I found two that, when either is deactivated, the problem ceased. Unfortunately, at least one of these plugins powers a very important function. I can’t live without it.

October 8, 2016 at 9:13 am #696855Hi cbesondy1,
If your problems exists with a default theme and are plugin related, then I would suggest you try to look for help with the plugin developers first of all as they are not related to our product. We’d be happy to help you out but we can’t offer support for third party plugins unfortunately.

When I applied a default theme the Edit Page content appeared normally. When I re-apply my Enfold Child theme it hangs. All worked well until the most recent theme and WP update.-Charles

RikardOctober 11, 2016 at 11:21 pm #698097Rikard, problem persists after the steps you suggested in previous post.
I think it odd that this problem occurs for some users and not others. Could there be a user account corruption to blame? If so what do I do about it?
I gave you logon credentials previously. Do you need them again?
If the issue doesn’t occur for you, try user: kem
October 11, 2016 at 11:26 pm #698098Hi!
Yes, the issue can be for some users and not the ” new ” users.
If you see that happening to old, please consider use new users. Thanks alot

BasilisOctober 12, 2016 at 12:16 am #698109I wish it were that simple.
Problem first occurred with my client’s account.(Admin credentials)
Not for my account.(Admin credentials). Nor with one of my developer’s accounts.
I created a new account and the problem persisted. (Admin credentials)Charles
