    Hi,

    I am writing to see if there is a neater way to achieve the desired outcome.

    On the homepage you can see the content slider under latest news. The look is almost what i am after with the exception of the padding of the text right of the image.

    To achieve the look using the content slider i used:

    .avia-content-slider-inner { background-color: #ffffff; }

    #top .avia-content-slider-element-container .avia-slideshow-dots { text-align: center; }
    #top .avia-content-slider-element-container .avia-slideshow-dots { width: 100%; }#top .avia-content-slider-element-container .avia-slideshow-dots { width: 100%; }
    #top .avia-content-slider-element-container .avia-slideshow-dots { position: relative; top: 270px; }

    body .alignleft, .entry-content-wrapper a:hover .alignleft {
    float: left;
    margin: 0px;
    }

    The problem is that at the moment i can’t simply select 2-3 post and have these displayed in a similar way.

    The question is, Is there a way how i can achieve the same look by using the post slider?

    Hi clairemartindigital,

    Here is the code you can put in Enfold > General Styling > Quick Css,  if it does not work, put into themes/enfold/css/custom.css

    I have seen a couple of other post in which this was discussed (ie image for post slider left & excerpt/read more link on the right) but haven’t gotten it to work for me.

    Hi,

    We don’t offer that style of slider by default, but there are plugin solutions which can give you a similar look. If you want to stick with the Enfold offered slider you would need a freelancer to style and code it as doing so goes beyond the scope of support here in the forums. http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
