Dear Support,
I have content mismatch issue with post & rss feed.
Case 1 (Success)
I tried to create a sample post without using Advanced Editor and the exact post content reflected in RSS feed.
Case 2 (Failure)
I tried to create a sample post using Advanced Editor but some random / inaccurate post content is reflected in RSS feed.
Note : But the actual content in perfectly displayed in blog front end, issue remains only with RSS feed. Please do let me know how to fix this issue, I am using this RSS for my mail-chimp campaign.

March 8, 2019 at 7:24 am #1076241Hey letka76,
Sorry for the late reply, I tried to find a RSS feed reader online that would show me more that just the title and link, but that is all that I could see. I still tried to read the raw file, and I think that the error you are talking about is that the rss feed is including some of the theme’s shortcode. Is that correct?
If not can you include a screenshot of how the article looks in your reader, with the error? To add a screenshot please try using https://postimages.org/ and pasting the image URL in your post.
I also see that you are using Enfold v4.5.2, but the latest version is 4.5.4, perhaps the new version doesn’t have this error, could you please update?
If the error is the shortcode, we have a patch to fix several errors that have to do with the shortcode, and I could apply it to your site if you include ftp access in the Private Content area.Best regards,

We have integrated aweber with our wordpress for sending newsletter emails to customer. We are also planning to do blog broadcast from aweber, but in order to make this work our rss feed has to be validated by awber. But strangely we get lot of validation error which i got from aweber support. Please check below URL and let me know how to fix this.
June 18, 2019 at 7:03 pm #1111425Hi,
This is not an issue of Enfold.
This is how WordPress generate the RSS feed. As you are using Enfold ALB, the builder also calls the HTML we have.
You can remove it if you want, but the result might be wrong on what u see at the end on the RSS feed.Best regards,
BasilisFebruary 11, 2020 at 12:04 pm #1183403Hi,
If that is the case then what suggestions do you have for us ?. We send the newsletter every Monday, due to this issue we are sending it manually. Is there any workaround and other solutions you have ?.
February 12, 2020 at 11:41 am #1183826Hi,
Perhaps a plugin like Custom Simple Rss will let you setup a custom rss feed and it will create it in a way aweber can read it.
I have not used this plugin but it says you can “create your own Custom Simple RSS Feed according to parameters you choose”
You may need to use the Classic Editor on the posts you want to be in the feed.Best regards,
MikeMarch 22, 2020 at 3:49 pm #1195252Hi Mike,
I have more or less the same problem but hope easier with Getresponse.
When I try to generate ad automatic RSS email, the data “description” gives me the title.
I found this issue only using the Advanced Editor, no issues with the classic one.Could you please help me?
March 22, 2020 at 5:37 pm #1195265Hi,
@Isotopper If I understand correctly you are using a “Getresponse” plugin which gets the “title” from the data “description” when using the Advanced Layout Builder.
Yet it works correctly when you use the Classic Editor?
I’m not sure what we can do to change this behavior, many plugins can not read our Advanced Layout Builder shortcodes correctly, so this is probably what the issue is.Best regards,
MikeMarch 22, 2020 at 6:28 pm #1195276Hi Mike,
you are correct, exept for the fact that in this case I’m not using the plugin but Getresponse catch the RSS data directly from the URL.Could I put a shortcode in the first text block to indicate Getresponse that this is the description?
Best regards,
LucaMarch 23, 2020 at 12:19 pm #1195438Hi,
Perhaps if Getresponse has a way to mark which fields to use, since I have not used Getresponse for RSS before, can you explain the steps you take, perhaps with screenshots, To add a screenshot please try using https://savvyify.com/img/ and pasting the image URL in your post.Best regards,
