When I’m making changes to a page I created I’ll hit “update” to save my changes, and when it refreshes everything below my heading gets deleted. This has happened multiple times on multiple pages. I’ve tried deleting the page and completely start over but still has the problem.
I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong or if its an actual problem. Please help! Thank you :)
April 2, 2015 at 2:30 am #422243I have had this recently too. Will monitor this thread. :)
April 2, 2015 at 5:27 pm #422629Hi!
Please try to increase the allocated memory to 128M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.If that does not help, please post the link to your website.

I tried editing a few of your pages but it’s saving fine for me. Is there a certain page it’s happening on? If so then send us a link to the exact page please.

ElliottApril 4, 2015 at 9:52 pm #423520The page I’ve been trying to work with is the one labeled “Services”: http://sparrowsocial.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=3341&action=edit&message=1
I’ve been messing around trying to find the cause for it. It seems when I start adding multiple photo blocks and inserting the photos then it all gets deleted after updating the page to save. The first layout block with the special heading on the page always stays when everything else disappears.
Thanks for your help on this.
April 6, 2015 at 7:42 pm #424177Hi!
to me it still seems an issue with the php memory limit, which needs to be increased. But maybe there are some corrupted files. In this case I suggest to completely delete all theme files via FTP and get a fresh copy from your themeforest account.
Also ask your host if they are using any server caching (which should be switched off).
I hope this helps.

I am having the same problem. I have tried clearing my cache web browsing history, I have deleted all files from ftp and did a fresh install wordpress and downloaded the enfold theme from themeforest. When I make some changes and hit update everything that I did or change during the time gets deleted.
It has done it to me about 4 times now. I have contacted my service provider they cant find anything on their end. They mention it could be the theme. I notice this happen after the new update. please help.

AndyJanuary 30, 2016 at 8:44 pm #575086Hi. I hate to comment on an old Thread but this is the only other ticket that I found for this. I am having the exact same problem and have found no solutions. I have tried deactivating all plugins, increased php memory limit to 256mb in both INI & wp-config. This problem needs a resolutions because I simply can not make any edits anymore.
Has anyone found a resolution?

July 11, 2017 at 6:54 pm #819585Hi!
@hohnesy That usually happens when there are improperly opened or closed HTML tags. Please make sure that is not the case on your website. For example correct way of adding Strong tag would be as following<strong>Here is my text!</strong>
If that does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum, attach temporary admin logins in private content field and point out the page where you are having the issue :)

YigitJuly 11, 2017 at 7:24 pm #819594That is exactly what the problem is. I deleted all <strong/> and it works great! Thank you for your help @Yigit!
