When i change from ALE to default WordPress editor (doesnt matter if visual or text) the Content of ALE is gone. Switching back to ALE without saving shows the content in Backend. There cant be a HTML-Tag Problem because we tried also only with a simple column, textblock or headline.
    Is there any known bug?

    Hey KM85,

That is to be expected since the two don’t work together. If you add some text to the default editor and switch to the Enfold editor, then your text should be added to a text block element, but it doesn’t work the other way around. There is no point in using the default WordPress editor though, you can simply add a text block element and that should do the same thing.

Thanks for your reply! So it is no mistake in setup, just a incompatibility between the Advanced Layout Builder and WordPress Default editor? Is that the reason why the debug mode is recommended?

    Hi,

I guess you can you put it that way yes, they are two separate builders. But like I wrote before, there’s really no point in using the default WordPress editor if you are using the Enfold Layout Builder, since you can get the WordPress editor by using a Text Block element.

You can activate debug mode if you want to copy or edit shortcodes directly, if you don’t need to do that then there is not point in doing so.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
