Dear all,
I have the following question when use the content element social share buttons.
When I want to share the post via Mail nothing happens. And is there a possibility that I can customize the text ‘Share this entry’, like for example the color or size of text.
January 14, 2016 at 2:10 am #565112Hi michael_world2cycle!
1. It’s working fine for me. It’s supposed to open up your default email client.
2. I don’t see the “Share this entry” text. Do you mean the “Share this” text that displays in the tooltip when you hover over the social icons?
Regards,

1. I am testing the Email link but no connection is being made. (no screen is opening) I do see when clicking the share button the following link.
“mailto:?subject=Paris-Roubaix&body=http://world2cycle.com/paris-roubaix/”To be sure how can I check my default for the Email?
2. The content element have the possibilty to add a small title. In this case the small title used is ‘share this entry’. I was hoping that it’s possible to amend the size and or color.
January 18, 2016 at 10:11 pm #567416Hey!
If the link you have added is correct the issue is with the default email program. outlook or a default email program should be installed and popup blockers need to be off. These days most people use only web mail and popup blocker is almost always on…
please see more info here https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/312346
I recommend using a contact page link in the email so when users click on it they cans end you message from contact page and you get finer and advanced control on how they send the message.
Best regards,

Just to be sure.
Can you explain how to create a contact page like.
Do I need to build a page and use the element contact form.
If so, how do I get it functional so that when the visitor uses the share button Mail that it automatically will create a subject line and add the the URL in the body text.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 29, 2016 at 12:20 pm #574444Hi!
Yes you are right.
To create a contact form create a new page and drag and drop the contact form element from Advance Layout Builder. Click on the edit icon for more setup options. We have a tutorial section if you are interested to take a look http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/tutorials-how-to-articles/
Another way is to import the demos ( If you already have content on your site it might get over written by demos only import demos on test site ).
Or by shortcodes go ahead and enable the Debug mode and then copy the provided shortcode in the default editor to your own page to import the contact form and edit it in Advance Layout Builder .
Please feel free to ask any questions about enfold.
Thank you for using Enfold.
Cheers!
VinayFebruary 1, 2016 at 10:34 pm #576055Dear Vinay,
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
Can you please let me know which tutorial I need to check.Furtermore, I have now created a page with a contact form by using the contact element.
The thing I don’t understand is how I can get it fixed that when selecting the share option Email, that the contact form will be shown including a subject line and add the URL in the body text.Maybe you have ideas or can direct me to the correct tutorial.
And besides, just to double check. I was using the contact element but I would like to know if I can create a possibility so that the visitor can update attachments.
Thanks for taking the time :-)
February 5, 2016 at 11:22 pm #578841Hi!
there is no tutorial for how to create a contact page, as it is something very basic.
There is not function for updating attachments. I think you would need to search a plugin for such function. Maybe Contact Form 7 plugin is for you.
Cheers!
