Hello,
On this website we have multiple (enfold theme) contactforms on the portfolio item-pages. Since yesterday this works great! But since yesterday we have already received several mails in which not all the fields have been send. The strange thing is that they are required fields so theoretically they should be in the mail notification. When i test it in all the forms, then the mail contents all the fields, including the visitors (my) mailadres. Strange right?
Wordpress and the theme are running latest version. We also see no errors on the pages.
Please check and help us out?

Are those emails spams?
So if they are spam the bot might not be adding emails inside.Best regards,
BasilisSeptember 8, 2019 at 10:15 pm #1135745Hey,
we have the same problem…
If we send a test mail from the desktop without entering email, enfold asks for the email address as this field is required. If we now try the whole thing from the phone, can be sent without an email, also here it would have to be a required field.
Enfold / 2019 August 29th – Version 4.6
I think is a bug…
September 8, 2019 at 10:24 pm #1135747Hi,
It‘s definitly not spam! It‘s an error in the Theme.
In Version 4.7.5 everything is ok; so please correct the Code in Version >= 4.6September 9, 2019 at 9:40 am #1135866Hi, no it’s definitly not spam indeed. On windows mobile phones (and Android i think), the email field is not required.
Seems like a bug. I just updated the theme from 4.6 to 4.6.1. Don’t know what the content of the update is? Perhaps the solution of this problem?Could please someone check this and let me know. We are really having problems with this bug.
September 9, 2019 at 4:04 pm #1136093Hi,
Strange.
I see you are using reCaptcha V3.
Can you try to deactivate it and check, if this solves the problem? As you are using enfold numeric captcha your form is protected.
Best regards,
GünterSeptember 10, 2019 at 8:54 am #1136413Hi Gunter,
No that is not the problem. We have completely deactivated recaptcha.
Looks like the required email field is not “required” or getting sent on mobile.September 10, 2019 at 2:02 pm #1136539I have the exact same problem
September 10, 2019 at 5:34 pm #1136641Hi,
Please replace file enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\contact\contact.js with
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6/contact.js.
Do not forget to make a backup of the original file for a fallback – clear server and browser cache.
If you need assistance in updating let us know and we can do it for you.Best regards,
Günter -
