    Hello.

One of our sites is constantly getting spam via multiple contact forms. We have enabled the captcha but we keep getting spam e-mails, few per hour to be exact. I tried to add google recaptcha i saw in another tread but without success.
Any suggestions on what to do? These spam mails are really annoying since they fill up a good bit of our e-mail storage.

An example of a spam email:

    Your name: prhzbu
Your E-mail address: (Email address hidden if logged out)
    Your telephone number: 86761695757

Tell us more of how can we help you: generic viagra xm radio
    pfizer viagra online usa

    Regards.

    Hello?

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, our built-in google recaptcha has been improved with the latest version 4.5.5, I see that you are using v4.4.1 please try updating. But there are also many tools available to spammers that help them by-pass google recaptcha, so another option for you would be to use the contact 7 plugin with the honeypot addon. We have had many positive reports from users that were “under attack” from spam and this helped a lot.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    @Mike,
It’s not very helpful for Enfold to ask us to use a 3rd party plugin when we’ve spent hours building forms with the Enfold contact form. It would be nice for Enfold to incorporate a Honeypot into their contact form.

    Hi,
Sorry, we have been working on one that is included with the captcha in the latest version, which works very good for most people. But our contact form offers basic functionally when compared to a plugin that only focuses on a contact form, We are always improving Enfold and each element, but if your site is “under attack” I recommend taking the action above.

    Best regards,
    Mike
