i’ve been trying to get my contact form to work and i’m stumped. when i send a test email, i receive the confirmation email at the sender’s address, but not the message at the recipient address (default address). my site is hosted at Dreamhost and my email goes through Gmail.
i’ve installed CF7 and i get the same “non-send” result. i’ve installed WP SMTP and get an error when trying to send a test message from the settings.
is this a Gmail issue, a Dreamhost issue? i’d really like to get this working as i am also using Enfold for a client’s site (hosted with Bluehost) and i fear that i may run into a similar issue again. thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi Jordan!
Have you already tried contacting Dreamhost? if not even CF7 works then it’s a server issue.

Josue
nope, i haven’t tried them yet. i’ll be doing that today. i’ll report back when/if it gets sorted on their side. thanks!

still working with Dreamhost on this. with the contact form placed automatically, it sends the confirmation message to the Sender’s email. if i install an SMTP plugin, it doesn’t. they’ve suggested using Configure SMTP, but i get the same result and error types. about to chat to DH for a second time, hopefully i’ll be able to resolve this issue today.
Hope you manage to sort this issue :)

Josue
well, looks like my solution is going to be to use Gravity Forms. everything i tried with DH was a bust and i feel like going to Google for help would be equally frustrating. i installed GF using a colleague’s license for testing and everything shot through right away, so bing bang, there’s the thang.
i still love Enfold and plan on using it more, i’ll just have to bolt on some performance parts from time to time, it looks like.
thanks for all your help and take care! shasta!
