Hi, I’m using Contact Form 7 with V3 captcha.
The form keeps giving errors “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.” Enfold seems to block the colour coding of this error box so I do not know what the problem is.
IF I take the form and drag it down the page builder so its a full width form in its own box (NO changes to the form) it WORKS.
Therefore there is something weird with the page builder or something.I have the same form design and page design on another website which has no problems at all.
I’ve re-built the form several times. Not helped.
I tried using the Enfold form but the client was getting excessive spam so reverted back.Please help.

update: I discovered that enfold had not updated from 4.4.1 I have finally managed to update it to 4.5.5 via cpanel.
Now, desktop use is working but mobile is NOT.ie. It sends the form ok on desktop (windows) but fails (error) on mobile (android & iphone).

The issue is quite random. We were able to send messages, but we did see the error once. (see private field)
Are you sure that the API keys are from reCAPTCHA v3? Please try to generate new keys and make sure that they’re from reCAPTCHA v3.You can also try the theme’s contact form element and its reCAPTCHA option. It’s in the Enfold > Google Services panel.

2. yes, it is bizarre, but it never seems to happen on another website with Enfold, same page design and contact form 7. So its something unique to this website…I dont understand the data in the private field sorry. But Enfold is blocking the ‘colour coding’ of the error message when it happens so I cant even tell what the issue is.
So what now?
April 5, 2019 at 7:27 am #1087380I deleted the V3 recaptcha at Google and created a brand new one.
Installed into Contact Form 7 integration.
Form STILL will not send on mobile AT ALL.
Plus I’ve noticed you have to click the “Send” button TWICE to get it to work. Once seems to click out of the form…. then 2nd to actually send it.

Is it working consistently when the reCAPTCHA option is disabled? Have you tried using the theme’s contact form instead of the plugin? Unfortunately, we are not familiar with the plugins code and we don’t provide support for third party plugins as stated on our support policy. You may need to contact the plugin author for additional help.
