Hello,
The contact form emails are not coming into the inbox of the email recipients who has the same domain name as the website address. When I enter gmail or other domain email addresses the emails come through fine but the address ie the clients address they are not coming through. I have tried with the Enfold contact form and also I have gravity forms plug-in also installed and the same problem is occuring. I have contacted the host and they are receiving all external emails fine so there just seems to be an issue with the ones from the website? See private log-in details below.
This is an issue with the mail system not trusting the web server to send email for that domain. The easiest thing to do is set up a mailgun.com account (free for under 10K emails/month but requires a credit card on file) and install the Mailgun for WordPress plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailgun/). You’ll have to have access to the DNS settings for their domain.
Also, if you’re using Gravity Forms, I would suggest that you set up the form itself to send each notification from the same email address you set up in the Mailgun plugin.
This has solved 100% of my email delivery issues. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
Hi,
Thanks for sharing @kevinmcgillivray, much appreciated. Did you try that out @ktsimeon?
Best regards,
