My contact form does not send me a submitted message but it is able to send the auto responder. I’m just using the built in theme form. I’m not sure when it stopped working. I just decided to give it a test try and realized there was a problem. Thanks for the help!

There is a bug in the contact form validation code. It may be your case too.

VinayJanuary 8, 2016 at 9:26 pm #562200Thank you! So I’ll just use contact 7 now. Do you know why it will only send to my gmail? If I set it to send to my business email it doesn’t work. That seems strange.
Thanks!
January 8, 2016 at 11:42 pm #562233Sounds like your business email isn’t able to receive messages, try contacting your e-mail hosting provider.

JosueJanuary 14, 2016 at 7:22 pm #565715Same issue here. I followed the instructions here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/ and made changes to the functions.php file.
Now the contact form sends the message and auto-response to me.
Appreciate the assistance.
(And BTW, how long has this issue been going on?)
January 17, 2016 at 1:15 am #566665Hey!
The address you need to set in the code must be
wordpress
, i’ve changed it and it worked (i did a test with my address). Please note that this not a problem that occurs to everyone and the reasons vary from user to user. In your case, your server only allows WordPress to send emails from the default WordPress address ( (Email address hidden if logged out) ).
Best regards,
Josue -
