December 20, 2020 at 9:44 am #1268738Hi MyGirlFriday805,
Can you give us temporary cPanel access? just change the password once this is fixed.
Best regards,
NikkoDecember 20, 2020 at 5:51 pm #1268807The only way I know how to access my Cpanel is through my hosting account. I’ll try to give you the best instructions to get there as I can.
December 22, 2020 at 4:47 am #1269215Hi MyGirlFriday805,
Thanks for giving us cPanel access and the instructions :)
It seems the issue was actually caching from the litespeed cache.
I did not get any errors when debugging but after turning of the cache and flushing it, the emails worked properly.
Please try to test the email and check if it works on your end as well.Best regards,
NikkoDecember 23, 2020 at 5:20 am #1269442I deleted the plugin Litespeed cache and the contact form still does not work. Are you sure that was the issue?
December 23, 2020 at 5:53 am #1269448Hi MyGirlFriday805,
Yes, here are the steps I made on your site:
1. Installed WP Mail SMTP (tested and email went through)
2. Created a new page with the default Contact Form using my email (did not work)
3. Enabled WordPress Debugging and Mail Debugging (no errors where logged but email did not went through)
4. Flushed out caching from litespeed and turned it off (email started going through email)
5. Replaced the receiving email in your contact form (also worked properly)
6. Turned off debugging and removed WP Mail SMTP (still worked properly)
7. Changed your contact form’s receiver to its original address and removed the test page.
I have posted links to screenshots of the emails I received.
If it wasn’t the cache that was causing the issue then the issue might be server-related or email (the email I tested with is also gmail).Best regards,
NikkoDecember 23, 2020 at 6:25 am #1269468Well I don’t know what to do. I can’t get it to work. I have tried to change the email address to my email address and it doesn’t work. I see my files are messed up though. I guess i’ll reach out to my host and see if they can fix it. Everything was fine until I had to change the email address.
December 23, 2020 at 7:16 am #1269470Hi MyGirlFriday805,
You can try to check this article: https://www.codeforest.net/debugging-wp-mail-like-a-boss-debugger
Also since there’s a high chance that PHP mail is not working properly on your site, consider using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/ and setup its Other SMTP settings (you’ll need to ask your hosting provider for some details like, SMTP Host, Encryption, SMTP Port, SMTP Username and SMTP Password)Best regards,
