I am unable to make any changes to my contact form After “Save” & “Update” page the contact form goes back to the settings it had before.
– Change email address or add an email address or Add a email subject Can’t get either of those to save changes
UPDATE:
:I have found a temp fix to my LIVE pages.
The problem is: I have a text box before the contact form. If this text has any formatting such as “Bold” then the contact form will not allow me to make changes.
To fix: remove any formatting in the text box or move the contact form BEFORE the text box.
I have added a TEST page named TEST so that you can see the problem.

August 9, 2017 at 9:27 pm #836622Added information:
Any text block above the contact form that has any type of html tag is break the contact form from updating.
If all text blocks, accordion text etc are straight text…(No bold, bullet points, etc) then the contact form will update correctly
– if I place the contact form ABOVE the text blocks, accordion text etc, the contact form will work and update correctly.August 10, 2017 at 5:15 am #836720Hi,
Thanks for the login details. Did you make sure to clear the cache from your caching plugins before and after doing the changes? If that is not the problem then please try to activate debug mode in order to see builder shortcodes: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/, then copy/paste the shortcode to a new page to see if that helps.

August 15, 2017 at 4:24 pm #839386Hi apremierdj,
If you really need to add formatting, you can go into text mode and do the html yourself. Let us know if that breaks the form as well.

VictoriaAugust 15, 2017 at 6:51 pm #839512Yes I would like to use some type of formatting.
If I manually do HTML inside the text box, it breaks the contact form.

August 18, 2017 at 9:28 pm #841034Hi,
From what I can understand, there is an extra rendering to the text box.
That is something we can not control, it is because of the way WordPress is rendering the HTML
and we are afraid we can not do something for that. Can I ask – you can not make the text inside textbox bold with some CSS?

BasilisAugust 18, 2017 at 9:36 pm #841036I’m not sure how to do that
August 22, 2017 at 7:34 am #842339Hi,
Are you using a CDN? Please disable “email obfuscation” in the cdn settings.
Best regards,
IsmaelAugust 22, 2017 at 5:56 pm #842670Ismael. I don’t see that setting in any Enfold setting. Can you please direct me where to location that specific setting?
I use jetpack and cloud flare . I believe this the Jetpack plugin acts as a CDN for pictures.

Did you add any html tags to the text box? Make sure that every tags are closed properly. Anyway, I was able to update the contact form in the test page without issue. ( see private field )
