Hello Support Team
I have my site almost done and started testing the forms and none of them are sending (I have about 4 forms on my site). The following are the steps i have taken to troubleshoot.
*Installed WP-Mail-SMTP – I can successfully send test email from within the plugin
*Tried sending to 2 different email addresses and no success
*Installed Contact form 7 and no successful emails went out
*Ran lost password function and email successfully comes into my mailboxBut none of my forms will send me an email. I appreciate any help you guys can give us. We have a soft launch of the site tomorrow but without forms we cannot do it.
thanks in advance
carlosNovember 30, 2015 at 5:33 pm #544647Hi Carlos!
I sent you a test email. Have you contacted your hosting provider yet? They may require you to use SMTP. You can set it up with the WP SMTP mail plugin.
Please read over this, http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-contact-form-is-not-sending-emails/.
Best regards,
Elliott-

November 30, 2015 at 8:09 pm #544776I am using SMTP on the website. I am using the plugin called WP-Mail-SMTP and I can successfully send test emails from the plugin. We are also using wordfence and that plugin successfully sends emails as well.
Look forward to your reply.

November 30, 2015 at 10:05 pm #544828Hey!
Did you receive the test email? Have you contacted your hosting provider yet? You can send us a WordPress login and we can take a look around but it would be best to contact your hosting provider as it’s usually a problem with the server.

ElliottNovember 30, 2015 at 10:15 pm #544836I understand but why are the other plugins on my site able to send emails successfully
December 3, 2015 at 11:09 pm #546734Hey!
that’s about an issue between WordPress standard email function and your server. Somehow your server restricts to receive WordPress’ emails. Other plugins are aware of this issue and that’s why providing a solution for it.

I just really need your help in getting this issue resolved.December 4, 2015 at 7:11 pm #547220Hey!
Login is not working for me. Please check.
Did you contact your hosting provider yet? What did they say?
Turn on WordPress debugging, https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress, and check your server error logs for any useful information.
Cheers!
ElliottDecember 5, 2015 at 3:11 am #547323I am using a 3rd party mail server vs my own mail server and it is working. Therefore the problem was on my end. The weird part is that certain parts of the website worked with my mail server and other parts didn’t. I believe in simplicity and i found it.
thanks for your help anyways
