Hi,
I’m having issue a issue with the contact form and not receiving emails. The form is successful, but I don’t receive any emails. Is this a host issue or something to do with the contact for itself. Is there a log generated after each submission?
ps. The emails aren’t in my junk mail or blocked and the email address is correct int he contact form.

August 7, 2014 at 11:11 am #301023Hey!
Can you please try installing Contact Form 7 plugin and check if it works – http://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
Best regards,
YigitAugust 7, 2014 at 12:11 pm #301052Just installed Contact Form 7 and It’s still not working.
August 7, 2014 at 12:13 pm #301056I also tried a test page with a new contact form. Same issue.
August 7, 2014 at 12:20 pm #301059Hi!
You need to check the server configuration in that case. Enfold contact form uses the standard wp_mail function: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_mail to send emails.
Please contact your server administrator for more info.Regards,
YigitAugust 7, 2014 at 4:53 pm #301191Hi yigit
in our case the domain is an external domain which is included with a domain record. Can this cause the issue? Our host is not the problem, all rights are set correctly and all scripts are running properly. All other sites work perfect on the same server.
Please advice.August 8, 2014 at 5:21 am #301446August 8, 2014 at 7:26 am #301470checked it with CF 7, at least the sender gets an information that it does not work
reply of CF 7: Die Nachricht konnte nicht gesendet werden. Bitte versuchen Sie es noch einmal zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt oder informieren Sie den Administrator der Webseite.
means: it did not work contact the admin…
What could be the reason for that?
August 8, 2014 at 7:31 am #301471Hey!
In most cases that means that the mail() function isn’t functioning, because its probably disabled, the best thing you can do in this case is contacting your hosting provider.

I don´t think that s the case. Contacted our host already as previously mentioned. Furthermore we are running about 20 wp pages on that server all of them contain a contact form. All of them work.
As I questioned already the only exception is that in this case the domain linking towards the site is included as an external domain via domain record??
So from our point of view this issue is to the theme.

oliverAugust 8, 2014 at 8:11 am #301479Hey Oliver!
The only way to discard that would be to check if CF7 works with the default WordPress theme activated.

JosueAugust 26, 2014 at 10:32 am #309235It works properly with other themes. It looks it is an issue with your theme – it sends emails to sender but not to admin.

sorry for the late reply. My problem is solved and it was not related to your theme. At the end I followed your proposal (standard wordpress). It was a mistake in the defined standards of the provider. The setup the account new and everything worked out.
Thank you for your help!!August 27, 2014 at 7:52 am #309680You are welcome, glad to help :)
