    Hello, my website has a contact form, this works fine with the theme. After I setup a child theme (plain with no changes) the contact form is working correctly. Its not firing messages and not showing message: Your message has been sent!

    I us the empty child from here template http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
    I use the black boxed enfold theme

    I know the contact for is ajax based, the error messages (input styles) are not showing as well. what can I do to make contact forms work within the child theme?

    After sending the form dissapears, no message is showing and the no mail gets fired.
    Using contact-form-7 sending mail is working. I want to use avia instead. Is it because of the child theme. Do I have to add the ajax files here additionally? I renamed the parent theme an child theme to “e2014” “e2014-child”, my this cause the problem not sending mails? Is avia ajax trying to get files from enfold child (i renamed) Mycurrent Parent Theme Version Number is 3.0.4

    I am still lost. this problem started after the child activation.

    Hey!

    Let’s try the following.

    1. Deactivate all plugins.

    2. Completely delete the theme before downloading + uploading a fresh copy from themeforest.

    After doing those two steps send us a link and we’ll take a look.
