Hello. Ran into a problem today with one of my contact forms. Certain fields were giving an orange error outline and not sending. Learned from a client that the form was broken and none of my inquiries were coming thru. :-(
I quickly rebuilt the form from scratch was able to get the form to work again. :-)However, form is still not working properly. Information from fields set to “form element: select element” is not coming thru the “sent” email. All the other fields are coming thru okay. Please advise. thank you kindly.
I too can confirm this issue. If a select field is set to validate as “not empty”, the form will not send no matter what is selected. If you remove the validation aspect, the form will send, but will not contain any content from a select field.
Kahil, Yes, you described my issue exactly. The validation of a selection field being “on” broke the form. I had to turn off all the validation to get it to work. The selections had to be changed to text input to receive them in the email. It’s a bug in the theme for sure.
