Hi!
I’m trying to set up the contact form on the home page. I’ve gotten my MailChimp API verified, and all my lists are showing up fine. I went in and changed which on the list must be required; however, those aren’t showing up as required on the contact form.
So where can I edit the contact form? I know I can click on it and edit it…but how do I tell it what list to associate to? I have about 10 lists.
Thanks,
AmandaOctober 11, 2016 at 8:07 am #697664Hey algkent,
Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

RikardNovember 3, 2016 at 4:12 pm #707804Hi Rikard!
Oh my goodness–I thought you guys were completely ignoring me. For whatever reason, it didn’t email me that you had responded.
THANK YOU. I’m still having trouble with this. Info below.
Also one other issue: How can I make it so that every individual blog post has a header with an image in it instead of just a bar at the top?
Thanks,
AmandaNovember 3, 2016 at 4:24 pm #707819Hi!
You can simply edit your Contact Form and choose which fields should be required. Please see the screenshot in private content field :)
Cheers!
YigitNovember 3, 2016 at 4:44 pm #707830Hi Yigit,
Thanks. However, how does the form associate with the correct list? I have about 17 lists from Mailchimp. I’ve imported Mailchimp, and all my lists have appeared.
What typically happens is what is required to be filled out would show up as required on the optin form. But that didn’t happen. So that’s how I know the right list is not associated with it.
November 3, 2016 at 4:51 pm #707834Hi!
You are using Contact Form element on your homepage. Please use Mailchimp Signup element instead and choose the list from dropdown and required fields will be display * automatically.

YigitNovember 3, 2016 at 5:08 pm #707855Ahhh. Thank you — that is SUPER helpful!
Followup: Is there a way (and I already looked at form styling within the MailChimp area) to make the boxes much less wide than they currently are (they’re currently full page width almost).
Followup #2: Did you happen to see my other question above, about how I can set the same header image onto each individual blog post by default instead of having to add the same image in individually with the advanced editor each time?
Thanks,
AmandaNovember 3, 2016 at 5:14 pm #707860Hey!
1- After choosing your list, you can click on the fields to change their widths. Please see screenshot in private content field :)
2- You can use Advanced Layout Builder to create your blog posts and save your layout/element as template. Please edit your page and then save your element as a template by clicking this button – http://i.imgur.com/vTKYlsJ.png. Then edit your other post and load that element under templates :)Regards,
YigitNovember 3, 2016 at 5:47 pm #707885Super helpful, Yigit! Thank you.
Follow-up: The subscribe button on the MailChimp list — where can I change the hover color? For some reason it’s not one of my brand colors. I looked around in General styling but haven’t been able to find it yet.
Thanks.
November 3, 2016 at 5:52 pm #707887Also, how do I import a font that I purchased so that I can use it?
November 3, 2016 at 7:25 pm #707915Hi!
You will have to convert the font, so it can be added and used as a web font and create some custom CSS for it.

BasilisNovember 3, 2016 at 7:32 pm #707917Thanks so much Basilis. And do you know how I can change that hover color on the Mailchimp Subscribe button?
November 4, 2016 at 8:17 am #708079Hi,
Please try the following in Quick CSS under Enfold–>General Styling:
.home #av_section_6 input[type='submit'] { background-color: red !important; }
Best regards,
RikardNovember 4, 2016 at 8:16 pm #708408Thanks! I will. Where in that coding do I put my hex code?
November 4, 2016 at 9:24 pm #708432Okay, just tried the header template. I’ve attached screen shots (actually, I don’t see how I can attach a photo to this thread?). I have the individual blog post header I want on every single blog post as a template now called blog post header.
But when I try to use it on a single post it didn’t do anything.
How do I use this template now so that each individual post has the same header look?
Thanks,
AmandaNovember 4, 2016 at 10:04 pm #708448Ahhh–I just saw what it did. I clicked on the Color Section, and it put it at the bottom of the blog post.
Question for you: It is REALLY difficult to reorder a different item within the advanced layout editor. So I’ve been trying to slide up the Color Section to before the blog post entry, and can’t seem to get it to do it.
What is an easier way to reorder elements?
Thanks,
AmandaNovember 5, 2016 at 9:36 am #708628Hi,
The builder is drag-and-drop so there is no other way unfortunately, unless you would like to work with shortcode instead. I get the impression that would not like to do that though :-)
What exactly are you having problems with?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 5, 2016 at 2:51 pm #708695Hi Rikard!
The problem I have is that whenever I add a new element, and want to move it in between or above another element, it takes me (no lie) about 24 or so times to get it to actually move. It’s intensely frustrating.
I slide it up to where I want it to go, there’s blue highlighting somewhere around the area, and then I release the mouse and it doesn’t move.
There’s got to be a better way to input elements above or in between other ones already on the page. Like right now, on any new blog post I create, when I want to input a color section so that I can put the header template I’ve created, it’s a NIGHTMARE to put the color section ABOVE the wordpress area so that it shows up as a header. In fact, I tried several times yesterday on my post about The Chocolate Coins, and still can’t get it above. So the header…is sitting below the post which looks ridiculous.
November 6, 2016 at 7:15 am #708781Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. Maybe we can help you out with that, what order would you like and what page are you working on?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 6, 2016 at 11:59 pm #708980Hi Rikard,
I finally did it! I had to take the blog post, and slide it under the Color section instead of trying to slide the color section above the blog post (the color section goes under the blog post when I click on the template I want). Is that the best way to do this moving forward?
November 8, 2016 at 11:54 am #709723Hi,
if it works for you, then it seems the best way to move it for you. I never had any problems with this, but feel free to make a feature request for Kriesi here: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Let us know if we can close this thread and freel free to open a new ticket for a new question/issue.
Best regards,
AndyNovember 8, 2016 at 2:42 pm #709821Thanks, Andy! Yes, we can close the thread. Thank you all very much for the help!
