    Hi team, I have an issue with the contact form after updating the theme yesterday.
    If I select a text field in the contact form and select the validation “valid e-mail address”, then the form does not send any mails and also a notification that the form has been sent is not displayed. If I cancel this validation and click “no validation”, the form will be sent and the message will also be displayed, but there will be no auto-message to the sender address. This only happens with newly created forms. A few days ago everything went smoothly, we didn’t install any plug-ins or make any other changes. What could be the reason? Here is an example:

    Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    All existing forms work perfectly! Only if I want to create a new form with an email validation, then it doesn’t work anymore. Plug-Ins all individually deactivated, even then it does not work anymore. Doesn’t anybody have an idea?

    Thank you for using Enfold and reporting the problem.

    I could locate the bug, tried to fix it in WP Editor but could not.

    The problem is the extended email check. If you switch back to normal check it works.

    In the next update there will be a fix for that.

    Meanwhile you can replace

    enfold\framework\php\class-form-generator.php

    with

    https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_4/class-form-generator.php

    Don’t forget to make a backup of the original file for a fallback.

    If we shall do the update for you we would need ftp access to your server.
