Hi guys,
In some older treat I have discovered the plugin “Contact form Db” which saves the contract forms of Enfold to the database and stores them for reporting purposes. (https://github.com/mdsimpson/contact-form-7-to-database-extension/releases)
The code base hasn’t been updated in a long long time. Is this still the best practice available for store contact forms using the Enfold theme?
Thanks for your support.

I’m not sure if that works with the theme or not unfortunately. Could you try it out on a test site first maybe? You could also try searching for alternative plugins or code, which might do the same thing.

I have installed and tried the functionality for a while hence i’m bumping into an issue (of which i’m not sure it’s caused by the plugin though). On the site I have a contact form, which is recently updated (new fields added). After saving the page I have purged the cache. Strangely enough now 2 weeks later the form is being sent in it’s old format (different fields and e-mail receiver).
So some user is still seeing a contact page with the older form, I can’t imagine that this user has visited the website and left a tab open for 2 weeks with that version of the page. And decided the fill in the form after 12-14 days.
If you have any idea what this might be i’m looking forward hearing from you.

July 8, 2021 at 7:25 am #1309201Hi,
Thanks for the update clarification. Does this problem happen when you test the form as well, or does it only happen for other users? If it works when you try it, then it’s likely that the user is seeing a cached copy of the page/form. I’m not sure what could be causing this to happen, but I doubt that it’s a problem with the theme. You can test that out if enable one of the default WordPress themes, and try to send the form again when that theme is active.

Please feel free to close and delete this treat :), it was totally my bad. I had created 2 contact forms on the same page (1 for large and 1 for smaller viewports) and totally forgot to update the settings of the 2nd form.
Meaning everything is working exactly as it should.
Thanks and regards
