Need help with CF7. Forms were all working fine up until a week ago. Now only 2 forms are working. You guys helped with customizing some of the tags so I was wondering if something got broken or if there’s a way to tell from your end.The forms I’m having issues are:
3707
3704
4045
Here’s the message I get when testing: http://goo.gl/soAT3w
Again these were all working fine a week ago.And the forms that appear to be working are:
3755
3740Some things to note:
We are using Act-On for our Marketing Automation Platform. I followed their CF7 Integration documentation to create a Mirror form on their site with the script they provided. You can see this in Additional Settings. We recently purchased an SSL certificate for the site from GoDaddy. Not sure if this is impacting it. Strange that it’s not impacting ALL CF7 Forms.

And this is what i get – http://i.imgur.com/FMKqnik.png
Do you have some kind of IP restriction enabled?Cheers!
YigitSeptember 25, 2015 at 3:36 pm #509102Not that I’m aware of. How would I check?
September 25, 2015 at 6:21 pm #509229We recently upgraded our firewall. We are blocking international servers. Could this be the cause? If so, let me know and we can white list your IPs
September 25, 2015 at 7:11 pm #509243I had someone outside our company try to load it and loaded fine for him too.
September 26, 2015 at 7:22 am #509377Hey,
In what country are you located? The moderators are spread out all over the world so blocking everything outside your country might cause some problems. Also, I think you should try to contact your host or Contact Form 7 about the problems you are having since they would likely be better equipped to give you a solution.

RikardSeptember 28, 2015 at 3:38 pm #510177We are in the US. Our CEO was recently a victim of a hack and so we just beefed up our security. Because the hack came from an IP in China, they decided to block anything outside of the US. We would be happy to whitelist anyone with Kriesi support as if we need help with the theme, etc., it would be nice if you could access our site. We would just need to know what those are.
I have reached out to both CF7 support and GoDaddy. Since CF7 is a free plugin, they don’t have to help you. It’s kind of a waiting game. GoDaddy claims that the SSL should not effect the forms.
The reason I’m reaching out to Kriesi is because one of the moderators helped me with the format so that it looked more like the theme contact form. So they went in and applied some class html. Thought I’d come back to Kreisi with this to see if the forms that aren’t working is because of some of this class html got messed up, etc.
September 29, 2015 at 5:30 pm #510874it would be nice if you could access our site. We would just need to know what those are.
What do you mean with “we would just need to know what those are”? those what? we are 7 people in Kriesi’s team, living all in different countries. If we can’t access your site we can’t do anything. However, if you have problems with a 3rd party plugin and/or SSL settings from your server, then we can’t do much, as this is a support forum for Kriesi’s themes only.
Try to activate a default WordPress theme to check if you have the same problem there.
What happens if you deactivate SSL again?Regards,
AndySeptember 29, 2015 at 5:49 pm #510894Andy, I am not IT but I assume it would be your IP address. When the hack happened, they believe it came from an IP address from Asia. I have no idea how you can tell. From there, they made an executive decision to block all international servers or IPs. Again, not sure if I’m correct on the terminology. I have a message into our vendor who changed our security settings.
September 30, 2015 at 9:43 am #511233Hi,
Can you please check if the issue persists with the default WordPress theme activated?

JosueSeptember 30, 2015 at 3:07 pm #511544I’m kind of afraid of switching my themes. My site is live and we have clients that need to access certain areas of our site. Would switching impact anything? I could try this over a weekend perhaps.
September 30, 2015 at 7:45 pm #511785I’m pretty sure it won’t change anything, you’ll still get the error message, therefore the issue is not theme-related. Try reaching your provider support.
Regards,
Josue -
