Hi guys,
For my third Enfold site I decided to import the ‘Construction’ demo files. It looked like a good way to get a head start for a simple site. However I’m having trouble tracking back some of the changes you have made to the default settings.
In the menu bar there are no active menu indicators in the Construction demo. But I would like them to be there. So I changed the Header Style to Default (with borders, active menu indicators and slightly transparent). However this does not give me visible active menu indicators. Now I am guessing you have changed some other settings or colors somewhere, but I can’t seem to find them in any of the stylings or extras. Can you guide me?

Thank you for using Enfold.
Setting the Header Style to the default option should be enough to display the menu indicator. Could you please provide a link to the website in question? We would like to inspect it.
Best regards,

Here is the link to my website. As you can see the menu text has a color change on mouse over. And where there is a submenu it displays a menu indicator on mouse over. But there is no way to see which page is active. It works fine on my other Enfold websites where I stared from scratch, but now I’ve used demo files for the first time and I can’t seem to find where things have gone wrong.

It looks like we have to be logged in to be able to view the page? Please send login details in private as well.

Of course, I forgot I have the site in maintenance mode.
January 12, 2016 at 5:11 pm #564031Hi!
It seems like you have not created a menu in Appearance > Menus. Please create one and then check “Enfold main menu” under Menu settings. If you are not able to save the changes, please refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enfold-menu-item-limit/

YigitJanuary 14, 2016 at 12:44 pm #565358Thanks for the tip!
However, since giving you my login info I seem to be blocked from logging in to my WordPress admin! Did you change anything? The strange thing is I am only blocked in my Safari browser but I do get access with Firefox. What could be wrong?
January 14, 2016 at 5:43 pm #565610Hi!
No, i believe i was the last person to login to your website and i have not changed anything. When we make changes, we post them to let users know.
What exactly is the issue that you are having? At first try i get “blocked” error too but then i try to login again and it works. That happened when i tried to login yesterday as well
Best regards,
YigitJanuary 14, 2016 at 5:58 pm #565626Thanks for checking Yigit. I’ve been trying to find out what is the matter but it’s very confusing. Even stranger that you get the ‘blocked’ message as well. Over here I get it ONLY on my Safari browser on THIS Mac. When I try on another Mac it works fine, so do Firefox and Chrome on this Mac, as well as my iPad, no problem. So it can’t be the IP that is blocked as they are all on the same IP. It looks like a browser issue, but how can I get the WordPress ‘blocked’ page then? I’m very confused. I’ve closed all plug-ins, no effect. Even restarted my Mac, but no effect. Logging in as a different user also doesn’t work. My host tells me there is nothing strange on the server so that can’t be it. I have found some mention of ‘blocked’ messages online though that seem to be related to the 4.4.1 WordPress update. I’m baffled!
January 14, 2016 at 6:43 pm #565666Hey!
I believe so too. It should not be theme related. To test it, you can try switching to one of the default themes and try to login on Safari
Cheers!
YigitJanuary 14, 2016 at 6:49 pm #565672You’re right, I tried switching to a default theme and I still can’t log in on Safari. It must be a WordPress issue. Thanks for your help!
