Hi Kriesi Team, there seems to be a conflict betwen the Classic Editor and the Avia Layout Builder after updating to WP 5.0 and updating the Classic Editor Plugin.
Its not possible to switch to visual mode or Avia Layout-Editor if you create new pages or posts.
None of both is loading :/
Same thing for portfolio entrys.
Woocommerce Products are working properly.
If the Classic Editor Plugin is disabled everything works fine. But this not an option because none of my clints wants to use Gutenberg…
Would be great to have a solution for this issue.

December 8, 2018 at 12:01 am #1042251Hi WebbR
Just wondering:
Why can’t your clients just work with the Avia Layout Builder?
I would say it does not matter if there is the old WYSIWYG editor or Gutenberg, does it?Oh and about this one:
If the Classic Editor Plugin is disabled everything works fine.
-> Partly agree. I had some issues with text blocks when I edited them. Saving and updating a page and then manually removed the code which was generated there magically. Afterwards it was fine but that something weird there I experienced.
Best,

December 8, 2018 at 4:29 pm #1042485Update: Checked this on an other project. This is due to the latest Update of Classic Editor Plugin!
Before updating it everything works fine.
I did a Rolloback (https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-rollback/) with the Classic Editor Plugin to 1.0 and no conflict at all….
So this may be a workaround till there is an update of the Plug or Enfold…Edit @ Kriesi Team: I kept the Editor Version 4.1 in the project I gave you credentials. So you might check for the reason of the problem.

December 8, 2018 at 5:52 pm #1042504Hi,
Thank you for pointing this out, in my test even the Classic Editor Plugin v1.0 didn’t allow the advanced layout builder button to work until the page was saved, nor did the Classic Editor visual tool bar show. Once the page is saved with a title then both editors show.
I have alerted the dev team to this, Thank you for your patience.Best regards,
MikeDecember 8, 2018 at 8:13 pm #1042543Hey Mike, thanks back for the support and for bringing it on the way!
December 8, 2018 at 8:19 pm #1042546Hi,
Glad to help. We’ll leave this open for now until we hear back from the dev team, if they don’t post here themselves I will follow up.Best regards,
MikeDecember 9, 2018 at 6:13 pm #1042780Update: the Classic Editor Plugin had an update where they say that it “Fixed switching editors from the Add New (post) screen before a draft post is saved.”
But in combination with ALE its still the same problem :(December 9, 2018 at 7:31 pm #1042795 -
