    Hello,
I updated to wordpress 4.0 while running enfold 2.8.1. Everything was fine except the admin side page editors would not open. The throbber was just spinning forever with nothing running. So I attempted to update to enfold 2.9.2. This was even worse as it resulted in completely blank pages at every url (admin side and front end). I then used the files from the 2.8.1 and ftp’d them over to the site and it came back working in the same state it was originally. Then I found the automatic update option in the theme options section. I tried that… and I just get this message “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.” Since it has been 20 minutes I don’t think this work. I’m tried to use FTP again to try to recover to the old theme but it didn’t work. Any ideas on why 2.9.2 and WP 4.0 don’t work together for me? My site is down.

    Regards,
    Dane

    Hey!

Did you get anything in your PHP error log? try disabling all third-party plugins before attempting to update (i’d suggest doing it via FTP and making sure all its uploaded correctly).

    Best regards,

I tried disabling all plugins and I have used FTP for the change over. Please see this link for the javascript error. I don’t see any php errors.

    Hi Dane,

Those errors indicate that you are still using 2.8.1. Can you please create me a temporary FTP account? post it here as a private reply.

    Regards,
    Josue

    Hi!

Not sure what you meant to be honest, that link returns a 404 page. If you could hand us a FTP account, it would be a lot easier.

    Best regards,
    Josue
