Hello,
I would like to be able to add some custom fields to the menu items in the backend.
I use Advanced Custom Fields PRO and have found this plugin, which extends ACF to allow setting nav_menu as location for the custom fields.
Here is the plugin page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/location-nav-menu-for-acf/
If you take a look at the screenshot there, you will see the functionality that I mean.I have gotten this to work with the Twenty Sixteen theme, but when I switch to Enfold, the custom fields are not being shown anymore. It doesn’t matter if the menu items are of type mega menu (which I need for my project) or just simple pages.
Could you please provide me with a hint on how to solve this?
Thanks in advance & all the best!

I’m not really sure I understood properly but can you post a screenshot showing a comparison when you are using a twentysixteen theme and Enfold?

Thanks for your reply!
Well, I am afraid there is not a lot to see, because with Enfold the Fields simply don’t show up in the Menu screen.
Firstly, this is the option that gets added to the Advanced Custom Fields Admin screen when you activate the Plugin ‘Location “Nav Menu” for ACF’: http://imgur.com/tZYm3Go
It says “Show these fields if…” – and then you can select for example a specific page or, in this case, one navigation menu or all navigation menus.I am attaching a screenshot how it looks like with Enfold: http://imgur.com/7XFJdMX
With Twenty Sixteen the field shows up (although it’s a bit crooked): http://imgur.com/Pgs3QZTIt would be great if there was a way to solve this issue.
All the best

we can’t really help about third party plugin, as mentioned in our support policy. However, contact plugin’s author and let us know what he’s replying to you about that.
Best regards,
