Hi, there. I hv a problem, hope I can find the answer here.

    Problem:
Permalinks of css file and js files are broken when both enfold theme and wpml plugin are enabled. Therefore, no css nor js files are successfully loaded.

    My setup:
Deployed “one domain per language” on my WP installation, totally 2 domains (e.g english.com & french.com), english.com is the original setup while french.com is the “addon domain” pointing to the directory of english.com in cPanel.

    As troubleshooting:
if all plugins are disabled except WPML, the problem does not exist.
if the theme is switched to “twenty twelve”, the problem does not exist.

Thank you so much : )

    Hey asiabchk,

If it works as expected when the only active plugin is WPML it’s most likely a conflict with one of your other plugins, could you try to activate them one by one to see which one is the culprit please?

    Thanks,
    Rikard

Hi Rikard, thx for reply. The problem exists only when Enfold + WPML are both activated.

    Hey!

try to flush your permalink settings by going to Settings->Permalinks and clicking “Save changes”.
Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugins temporarily for testing purposes?

    Cheers!

    Hi Andy,
    thx for reply.
    1) flushing permalinks setting: Done
    2) allowing deactivation of all plugins: Okay, pls go ahead.
    thx again for support.

I reported the same case to WPML, their team reported that they would contact your side very soon.
Kindly update me for any info. Thank you very much.

The error happens in the particular situation:
    1. WPML + Enfold enabled (no other plugins are active)
    2. In WPML, the URL configuration is “one-domain per language”
    3. The default (primary) language domain is “SHORTER” than the URL of secondary languages.

    Hope it’s helpful for troubleshooting.

    Hi!

Have you been able to figure this one out? URLs seem to be fine on my end right now :)
